It can be easy to picture gratitude as something that comes after everything works out—when the project is finished, the prayer is answered, or the next step becomes clear.
But as we enter November, we’re making room for thanksgiving even while some things remain unfinished.
Here at DLK Music, we have projects moving more slowly than we hoped. Our video studio is still taking shape, website upgrades remain in progress, and the next new music releases across our wider music family are now being planned for the first quarter of 2027.
We know we’re not alone in having a few things carry over into another season. Perhaps there’s something in your own life that you hoped would be further along by now.
A Heart of Thanksgiving
In those moments, we find comfort in taking time to pray and reflect. We can choose to recognize what’s already here: people who encourage us, opportunities to keep going, and the grace of another day.
That’s the heart behind our November theme, “A Heart of Thanksgiving.” We want to make space for honest gratitude. And yes, this includes the days when the to-do list is long, and the progress is difficult to see.
We don’t have a new DLK Praise & Worship release to announce just yet. For now, we hope our music continues to offer a place to pause, worship, and reconnect with what matters most.
As we continue through this season, we’re grateful to have you sharing this journey with us. We know that finding reasons to give thanks while some things remain unfinished isn’t always easy. But it’s a reminder worth holding onto.
What is one thing you’re especially thankful for this November, even as you wait for other things to fall into place? We’d love to hear what gratitude looks like in your season. And as you make room for more moments of thanksgiving, find encouragement through the music and reflections at DLK Praise and Worship.
